In fact, by sourcing some of the very finest ingredients from abroad and always emphasising craftsmanship, the brand became a favourite of such figures as Florence Nightingale, Mary Shelley and Winston Churchill.
Floris are immensely proud of their history, as you might expect from an institution currently overseen by its founder's descendants. This is encapsulated by the decision to retain the shop at 89 Jermyn Street – the site of where it all began.
A sense of lineage is apparent in every one of the brand's designs, which hark back to a very English sense of heritage and class.
