Weleda’s Copper Ointment is an anthroposophic medicine designed to provide symptomatic relief of muscular pain and cramps. It’s intended for external use, with directions typically advising you to apply a small amount thinly to the affected area and massage well, once or twice a day (or in the evening to aid circulation, as stated for adults). In Weleda’s own product listings, it’s also described as helping with disturbances associated with warmth and the metabolic system.
The main purpose of the ointment is to support comfort where you feel muscular discomfort or cramping, including areas such as feet and calves. Weleda also lists cautions such as seeking medical advice if symptoms persist, and keeping the product out of children’s reach. For a notable component, Weleda identifies Cuprum metallicum praeparatum as the copper preparation used in the formula.
