Province Apothecary was born out of the need for effective remedies that weren't packed with common skin care nasties – something that brand founder Julie Clark found almost impossible to come across.

Julie has always struggled with allergies and eczema which was why she set about creating non-irritable natural and organic cosmetics. The former costume designer and stylist began mastering the art of producing skin-loving formulations, combining natural waxes, oils and herbs to counteract a variety of skin care problems. By 2010, Julie was studying Aromatherapy, Holistic Health and Esthetics which is where she refined her knowledge of skin care and natural solutions.
