With the tip of the nail being the most fragile, it tends to break, split or chip the easiest. This treatment from Mavala helps to harden the nail plate so that your hands can withstand hard work and restore healthy nail growth.
Active ingredients improve the cohesion of keratin fibres, which in return allow the nail layers to bond together for a healthier, hardened feel. Crystal resin tears, a gum extracted from the pistachio mastic tree, also boosts natural keratin stimulation to reinforce strength.
The treatment boasts a water-like texture and is neither a base coat or nail polish. It simply works to harden soft, brittle nails and prevents them from breaking, flaking or splitting.

How do you use it?
- Remove manicure and any oily film from nails
- Apply Mavala Scientifique K+ from the centre of the nail to the tip only
- Avoid touching cuticles and skin around nails, in order not to harden them as well
- Leave to penetrate for one minute, by holding hands downwards so that the product does not run onto the cuticle
- Follow with your usual manicure (base coat, nail polish, top coat)
- Use two to three times a week until nails have obtained the desired hardness
