Weleda Ruta Ointment is an anthroposophic medicine made to provide symptomatic relief of sprains. The ointment is designed for topical use on the affected area, supporting comfort during the period you’re experiencing strain-related discomfort.
For adults and children, Weleda advises applying the ointment to the affected area once or twice a day if required, unless you’ve been directed otherwise. It’s for external use only and comes with specific warnings to follow if symptoms worsen or don’t improve.
Notable ingredients include an ethanolic extract from Ruta graveolens (rue), plus a traditional ointment base of Wool Fat (lanolin), Yellow Beeswax, Sunflower Oil, Olive Oil, and Wool Alcohols. The product is also suitable for vegetarians.
