Guinot Anti-Ageing Sun Capsules are an oral food supplement designed to prepare the skin before sun exposure. The aim is to help reinforce the skin’s natural defences, support the appearance of a tan and help it last longer - while fitting into a sun-safety routine. Importantly, Guinot states that the capsules do not replace sunscreen, and that you should apply protective cream during sun exposure.
The brand highlights key nutrients including beta-carotene to intensify and prolong the tan, plus vitamins C and E to help protect cells against oxidative stress caused by the sun. For best results, Guinot recommends taking one capsule daily for two weeks before going in the sun, continuing during exposure and for one week afterwards.
