Aveda’s Scalp Solutions Hydrating Scalp & Hair Masque is a velvety creme mask designed to treat the scalp and condition the hair in one step. It works to intensively replenish the scalp moisture barrier and help relieve discomfort linked to scalp dryness, while leaving hair feeling smooth, looking shiny and staying hydrated. It’s also positioned as a treatment to reduce noticeable flaking caused by dryness.
Powered by Aveda’s BioTech Natural moisture recharge technology, the formula provides “dual-impact” hydration for both scalp and hair by recharging the scalp’s lipid matrix. One of the key highlights is vegan squalane (biofermentation-derived), which Aveda notes for soothing dryness and supporting softer-looking, more comfortable scalp condition.
Notable ingredients listed on Aveda’s product page include vegan, biofermentation-derived squalane; glycerin; trehalose; betaine; caffeine; squalane; coconut oil; sunflower seed oil; and lactic acid. Aveda advises using it 1–2 times per week, applying after shampooing, leaving on for 2–5 minutes, then rinsing well.
