With a philosophy of 'what makes you unique, makes you beautiful', Laura Mercier teaches and inspires women all over the world to love their skin and embrace their natural beauty.
At 17, Laura enrolled at the prestigious Carita Beauty School where she specialized in skin care and makeup application. After a few years, her passion and skills sky-rocketed and she searched for her next venture.
So, she moved to New York in 1985 where she ended up working for the likes of Elle, Allure and Vanity Fair, all while building relationships with some of the biggest names in the industry. It didn't take Laura long to establish herself as a leading makeup artist and she went on to work with the most adored celebrities on the scene, including Madonna, Celine Dion and Sarah Jessica Parker to name a few.
Laura Mercier took all of her beauty secrets and poured them into creating her own brand, Laura Mercier Cosmetics, which launched in 1996. Today, her brand is available in 27 countries and is loved by women everywhere (including SJP). Laura Mercier is the name behind the 'flawless face' and her multi-award-winning collection has been specifically designed for women of all ages and skin types.
