Shiseido’s Ultimune Power Infusing Serum is a daily face serum designed to help slow the skin ageing cycle, supporting a more youthful, radiant look. The brand positions it as a “breakthrough” formula that helps prevent and visibly correct the look of ageing-related concerns, including uneven tone, dullness, redness and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
At the heart of Ultimune is Shiseido’s Exclusive Power Fermented Camellia+ technology, created through a proprietary Japanese bio-fermentation process with Ki-koji. Shiseido states this helps deliver 14 amino acids to nourish and strengthen skin, with the formula also designed to absorb quickly.
Notable supporting ingredients include fermented Camellia+, camellia seed oil, camellia seed/leaf/flower extracts, heart leaf and fermented roselle extract, plus reishi mushroom and iris root extract. Shiseido also describes the serum as paraben-free, mineral oil-free and non-comedogenic.
