This eau de cologne is directly inspired by the scents of Jean-Marie Farina’s garden in Santa Maria Maggiore. As the first recorded creator of cologne, Farina holds a special place in the history of perfumery; Roger & Gallet fragrance pay their own inimitable tribute in this exquisitely crafted fragrance.
The garden itself is situated beside the Mediterranean’s clear waters, the winds of which blow through the fragrant lemon and orange trees. With this precise image in mind, the perfume house’s craftspeople have devised a blend that opens with top notes of bergamot and lemon, before revealing a heart of neroli, petitgrain and rustic rosemary.
A sophisticated, multi-faceted base then balances cedarwood with sandalwood, cedar, vetiver, musk and white amber. Not only does this combination lend the fragrance a richness and dimension, it also imbues the skin with a deeply sensuous dry-down.
This sparkling scent taps into centuries of cologne heritage to best illuminate your day.
