NOW Foods’ Methyl B-12 With Folic Acid is a high-potency dietary supplement designed to support your body’s B-vitamin needs. The formula combines vitamin B-12 in its methylcobalamin form with folate, helping to provide both B-12 and folate support in one daily lozenge.

The product’s main purpose is to deliver a convenient way to top up methylcobalamin and folate. NOW Foods lists the folate as Quatrefolic (6S)-5-MTHF glucosamine salt, and the B-12 as methylcobalamin. On the brand’s supplement facts, the lozenges provide 5,000 mcg of vitamin B-12 and 680 mcg DFE folate (based on 400 mcg (6S)-5-MTHF from Quatrefolic (6S)-5-MTHF glucosamine salt).

For use, NOW Foods recommends taking 1 lozenge per day, with a meal, with the lozenge dissolving in the mouth.
