NOW Foods Gluten Digest Vegicaps 60 Vegicaps

Product Description

NOW Foods Gluten Digest Vegicaps are a digestive enzyme supplement designed to support the breakdown of gluten and cereal grains when they’re part of your meal. The formula is positioned as “gastro-intestinal support*”, helping to address digestive comfort around meals that may contain gluten.

The product uses NOW’s BioCore DPP IV technology, alongside a blend of enzymes to help target protein and carbohydrate components commonly found in gluten-containing and cereal-grain foods. NOW Foods states the formula includes proteases and amylases, and specifically lists protease (from Aspergillus oryzae), protease (from Aspergillus melleus), amylase (from Aspergillus oryzae) and glucoamylase (from Aspergillus niger).

For the vegicaps themselves, the capsule type is hypromellose (cellulose), and NOW Foods lists other ingredients including maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose and MCT (medium-chain triglycerides). The product page also notes it contains no sugar, salt, yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg or shellfish ingredients.*
