NOW Foods Dairy Digest Complete Vegicaps 90 Vegicaps

Product Description

NOW Foods Dairy Digest Complete Vegicaps is a dietary supplement designed to support digestion of dairy products. The brand positions it as “dairy tolerance enzymes”, created to help break down lactose as well as dairy proteins and fats - so you can enjoy dairy-containing meals more comfortably.*

The formula combines lactase for lactose digestion with proteases and lipases that specifically target milk proteins and fat. On the NOW Foods label, the suggested use is to take 1 veg capsule with or before a meal containing dairy, with one capsule described as equivalent to digesting dairy products amounting to one cup of whole milk.*

Notable ingredients include protease (from Aspergillus oryzae and Aspergillus niger), lactase (from Aspergillus oryzae) and lipase (from Rhizopus oryzae). Other ingredients listed include microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose (cellulose capsule), maltodextrin, calcium laurate and silicon dioxide. NOW Foods also notes it is not manufactured with milk, egg, fish, shellfish, tree nut or sesame ingredients, and it is produced in a GMP facility that processes other allergens.*
