Product Description

NOW Foods Borage Oil 1000 mg Softgels are a concentrated omega-6 essential fatty acid supplement made from borage (Borago officinalis) seed oil, providing 240 mg of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) per softgel. The formula is positioned to support the body’s use of GLA by supplying it directly through diet.

Each serving delivers 1,000 mg of borage oil and features an expeller-pressed, hexane-free preparation. NOW Foods also states that the oil contains no harmful levels of pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PAs). The softgel capsule is made with bovine gelatin, glycerin and water.

Suggested use is 1 softgel once or twice daily, preferably with food. NOW Foods notes that it is for adults only and includes storage and caution guidance on the product label.
