NOW Foods Berberine Glucose Support 90 Softgels

NOW Foods’ Berberine Glucose Support Softgels are a dietary supplement designed to support glucose metabolism and help support already normal glucose and lipid levels. The product is based on berberine, a natural constituent found in herbs such as goldenseal, Oregon grape, and barberry. NOW Foods notes that berberine has limited bioavailability, so this formula includes capric acid (C10, derived from MCT oil) to promote optimal absorption and help maintain gastrointestinal comfort during supplementation.

A key part of this formula is the inclusion of MCT oil (medium-chain triglycerides) alongside berberine, as well as capric acid (C10). Each softgel contains 400 mg berberine HCl (from Berberis aristata bark) and 700 mg MCT oil, including 238 mg capric acid (C10). The softgel also includes a capsule system made with bovine gelatin (BSE-free), glycerin, water, and caramel colour, plus beeswax and sunflower lecithin.
