Product Description
DIOR JOY is one of the brand's most singular and immediately recognisable creations. The vibrancy of flowers and citrus fruits are tempered by the smoothness of woods and the earthen calm of musks, forming a scent that's resplendent with dimension and nuance.
At the same time, it remains clear, cool and uncluttered, a delicate balance that can be attributed to the exceptional work of François Demachy, who conceived the eau de parfum as an aromatic interpretation of a pointillist painting.
He puts this idea into practise by opening the fragrance with a fusion of bergamot and mandarin, which then falls away into a heart that blends rose grasse absolute with jasmine and fruits. The richness and creaminess of sandalwood, meanwhile, is neatly paired with clear, powdery musks to perfectly round out this wholly delightful composition.
