The Indigo Cleansing Balm by Tatcha is a fragrance-free, buttery-soft cleansing balm that melts into a silky oil and turns milky when you add water. It’s made to gently remove makeup, sunscreen and daily buildup, even long-wear formulas like waterproof mascara.
Key benefits include a visibly soothing feel thanks to Japanese Indigo Extract, plus cleansing lipids that help lift away residue without stripping. With Hadasei-3 (a rice ferment blend), the balm is designed to support the skin barrier, leaving skin feeling calm, comfortable and moisturised after cleansing.
Notable technology is the balm-to-milk texture change during use, helping the formula dissolve then emulsify for a thorough rinse. It’s also formulated for sensitive and sensitised skin, making it a great choice when you want a cleanser that feels gentle but still performs.
