Meet MAC’s Macximal Matte Lipstick, a silky-matte formula designed to deliver full-coverage colour with a comfortable feel. The finish is proper matte, but without that tight, dry look - made to look rich on lips and stay true through the day.
What it does best is long-wearing payoff: MAC states it provides 12 hours of full-coverage, non-fading colour. It’s also designed to help lips feel better during wear, with up to 8 hours of moisture, so your colour looks neat rather than patchy.
Key ingredients and film-forming technology help create that smooth matte effect. You’ll find softening emollients and butters such as shea butter, cocoa seed butter and coconut oil, plus waxes including candelilla and carnauba. For texture and slip, the formula includes silica and a crosspolymer system (notably trimethylpentanediol/adipic acid/glycerin crosspolymer), supporting a comfortable glide and the matte finish.
