The serum boasts a molecular weight of 152.1 daltons, which is larger than those found in other AHAs, like glycolic or lactic acid. The larger size means that the mandelic acid is able to penetrate skin more slowly and give a gentle exfoliation without causing irritation. Not to mention, an added dose of hyaluronic acid keeps skin hydrated and comfortable.
