Last year we rolled out our first ‘Beauty Influencer Rich List’, to find out just how much some of the biggest names in cosmetics could be earning from their social channels.

This year, we’ve refreshed the list to see how things have changed, as well as adding in each person’s following on TikTok, which has seen its popularity explode over the last twelve months, especially when it comes to finding out the latest skin-care, beauty and makeup hacks and trends.

The online beauty and fashion industry has become so lucrative that influencers such as James Charles and Jeffree Star are becoming famous faces in their own right and raking in the cash.

But which of the biggest beauty names on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok

are earning the most?

Despite having the most combined followers over the three platforms, James Charles has been knocked off the top spot as the world's richest beauty influencer. In his place, Huda Kattan of Huda Beauty comes out with the highest estimated earnings: $3,000 per TikTok video, $3,887 per YouTube video and $158,515 per Instagram post, for a combined total of $165,402.

Huda Kattan is literally living the dream, having quit a job in finance to start her beauty blog and is now head of an empire worth over a billion dollars and almost 55 million followers on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.

James Charles

Ranked #2

Even though he has over 88 million followers on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, James Charles takes the second spot on our list, earning $150,733 from each post on the platforms.

Bretman Rock

Ranked #3

In third place, Bretman Rock rose to fame when he was just a teenager and now has estimated total earnings per post of $14,294 on YouTube, $8,902 on TikTok and $51,424 on Instagram.

Methodology

Potential YouTube and Instagram earnings were calculated using Influencer Marketing Hub’s YouTube Money Calculator and Instagram Money Calculator.

Potential TikTok earnings were calculated using Exolyt’s TikTok Money Calculator.

All figures were converted from US dollars to pounds and euros as of 2/3/2021 and all follower/subscriber figures correct as of this date too.
