Supercharged with the most popular kind of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), glycolic acid, the lotion breaks down the "glue" that keeps dead skin cells together in the epidermis. These dead skin cells can then be readily exfoliated to reveal fresh, radiant skin. Glycolic acid also helps to diminish fine wrinkles, lighten hyperpigmentation and unclog congested pores.
