Started by entrepreneur and makeup artist Huda Kattan in 2013, Huda Beauty is a truly inspiring success story, with her meteoric rise taking her ahead of some of the most established names in the industry.

In second place was another brand intrinsically linked with its influential founder, Kylie Cosmetics.

Along with the rest of her famous family, Kylie Jenner has huge reach and appeal on social media, especially amongst teenagers, and that influence has definitely transferred onto her brand, which she sold a controlling stake in to Coty, Inc last year for an eye-watering $600 million.

This pioneering brand has been one of the industry heavyweights for over 30 years, so it's little surprise to see it come out as one of the top three most influential brands.

M·A·C started out supplying the pros, but it wasn’t long before they grew an army fans around the world, with an annual turnover of over $1 billion and over 500 stores around the world, with regular high-profile collabs with the likes of Rihanna, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj.
