NOW Foods L-Carnosine 500mg - 100 V-Caps

Product Description

NOW Foods L-Carnosine 500 mg Veg Capsules are dietary supplement capsules containing L-Carnosine (beta-alanyl-L-histidine), a dipeptide made up of alanine and histidine. According to NOW Foods, it is naturally found in high concentrations in muscles and nerve tissues, with levels known to decrease with age.

The purpose of this supplement is to support “cell integrity” and muscle vitality, while also acting as a free radical scavenger. NOW Foods explains that carnosine helps protect cell and tissue structures during the ageing process through free-radical neutralising and membrane-stabilising functions.

Each serving delivers 500 mg L-Carnosine in a vegan/vegetarian capsule format. The other ingredients listed by NOW Foods are hypromellose (cellulose capsule), stearic acid (vegetable source) and silicon dioxide.
