New Nordic’s Frutin Gastro Gel Chewable Tablets are sugar-free chewable tablets designed to help relieve the symptoms of heartburn. The key idea is pectin: when you chew the tablet, it helps form a protective foam barrier on contact with stomach acid, limiting how much the acid content can reach the sensitive oesophagus. It’s an easy-to-take option for everyday digestive comfort, with a fresh mint taste.
Alongside pectin, the formula includes dolomite (a calcium and magnesium carbonate source), and dandelion extract (Taraxacum officinalis). The product also contains niacinamide (vitamin B3), plus peppermint flavour and magnesium stearate, with silicon dioxide used to help with tablet processing.
