Targeting blemishes, acne and redness, the Herbivore Lapis Balancing Facial Oil is a skin care essential for oily skin types.
Sure, you might think that treating oily skin with a facial oil is a recipe for disaster, but Herbivore are here to bust that myth. More often than not, oily skin is enhanced by overwashing and not thoroughly moisturising enough, which then encourages the skin to produce oil and sebum to combat the dryness. This is where Herbivore Lapis Balancing Facial Oil steps in.
The formula contains a precious blue oil called Blue Tansy which naturally colours the oil to produce that royal blue hue. Named after Lapis Lazuli – an Egyptian stone known for its deep blue colour –the oil feeds parched, dry skin without blocking pores or encouraging the production of sebum. Azulene works to reduce the appearance of redness and balances the skin for harmonious results whilst squalene acts as a light barrier to protect and hydrate the skin against hyperpigmentation.
Kukui nut and jasmine sambac oil also help to boost elasticity and nourish skin at a deeper level.
