Comparing the number of tattoo shops with the square mileage of some of the UK's largest towns and cities, we’ve discovered the tattoo capital of Britain.

Methodology
Our city populations came from City Population, while our city square miles came from Wikipedia. Our London borough populations and square miles also came from Wikipedia.
We then used Yelp to search for tattoo studios in each city, ensuring that the distance was set to ‘within 5 miles’, and the category ‘tattoo’ was selected. For the London boroughs, the distance was not applied, but all tattoo studios sitting within the borough boundaries were counted.
These numbers were then compared to the populations and square mileage to discover the tattoo capital of Britain.
